Fingrid will lower the balance service fees for BRPs in Finland from 1 September 2025
Fingrid will lower the balance service fees for balance responsible parties from 1 September 2025. The reason for the decrease is due to lower costs of power system reserves during the spring and summer.
As of 1 September 2025, the volume fee for production and consumption charged to balance responsible parties will decrease to 1,35 EUR/MWh. Fingrid is able to reduce the fee thanks to lower than expected reserve costs during the spring and summer. Other balance service fees will remain unchanged.
Appendix 1 has been updated accordingly.
