Balance responsible parties will not be charged for the volume fee for production and consumption in October 2026
Fingrid will not invoice the volume fee for production and consumption in October 2026. The reason for this is lower level of the power system reserve costs and higher level of the electricity trade result.
In October 2026, the volume fee for production and consumption charged to balance responsible parties will be EUR 0.0 per megawatt hour. The fee will not be invoiced because the reserve costs covered by the balance service fees have remained at a lower level than forecast and the result for electricity trading has been higher than forecast. Other balance service fees will remain unchanged.
Appendix 1 has therefore been updated accordingly.
