Decreased Balance service fees for Balance Responsible Parties in Finland from 1.3.2024

As of 1.3.2024, the volume fee for production and consumption charged to balance responsible parties in Finland will decrease to 1,33 EUR/MWh. The current volume fee is 1,5 EUR/MWh. Other balance service fees will remain unchanged.

Fingrid can reduce the fee thanks to lower reserve costs, which are covered using balance service fees. More information about the change can be found on Fingrid’s website.

Appendix 1 of the Imbalance Settlement agreement has therefore been updated accordingly.
