eSett welcomes its new Board of Directors

eSett has named its new Board of Directors for the 2026–2028 term. The previous Chair, Kari Suominen, is stepping down and continues as a deputy member of the Board. Sisse Friis Hansen, Senior Manager at Energinet, has been appointed the new Chair.

“I am honored to take on the role as Chair of the Board. eSett Oy is a strong and well-run organization, and my priority will be to build on the extensive expertise and deep knowledge in settlement services across the Nordic countries,” says Sisse Friis Hansen.

Antti Keskinen from Fingrid has also joined the Board. He has extensive experience in electricity market development, regulation, and stakeholder governance across the Nordic energy sector.

Ole Jacob Høyland from Statnett and Catarina Bredbo from Svenska kraftnät continue as Board members.

eSett thanks Marie Budtz Pedersen and Kari Suominen for their valuable contributions to the Board over the past two years, and Kari Suominen in particular for his leadership as Chair. Their expertise has played an important role in the progress made in eSett’s operations.
