Since eSett took over the reconciliation settlement process from Svenska kraftnät in November 2023, we have now had a chance to revise the process together with Svenska kraftnät based on our findings and feedback from the market.

The reporting schedule for providing final Load Profile Shares to eSett is by the end of the second month after the delivery month. However, we have recognized that if the reporting is left until the end of month, it leaves very little if any time for BRPs and eSett to review the reported values and for DSOs to correct any errors.

As a result, eSett and Svenska kraftnät strongly recommend that DSOs submit initial final Load Profile Shares to eSett no later than the 15th of the second month after the delivery month. Updates to these values are still possible and welcome until the end of the month.

We understand that this adjustment may require changes to DSOs’ processes. However, we see that it would significantly increase the possibilities for BRPs and eSett to review the data well before invoicing, but also for DSOs to fix any potential errors in the reporting. Ultimately, we anticipate that this change will lead to improved data and settlement quality.

Kindly contact eSett’s customer service in case you have any questions or concerns regarding this change.
