Changes to bilateral trade gate closures

eSett has received feedback from Balance Responsible Parties (BRP) through Customer committee to have more time to accept counterparty values for bilateral trades (BIT). eSett accommodates these wishes by making the change described below.

Currently the gate for acceptance of the delivery day (CET) values is the next working day at 12:00 CET. The new gate for acceptance of the delivery day (CET) values will be during the next working day (in accordance with the Nordic Calendar) until 24:00 CET.

This change becomes valid from the beginning of March 2018 CET. As a result, balance responsible parties are able to accept counterparty values for the delivery day 1.3.2018 00:00 – 1.3.2018 24:00 CET until 2.3.2018 24:00 CET. For the day 28.2.2018 00:00 – 28.2.2018 24:00 CET the current gate closure time 1.3.2018 12:00 CET for counterparty value acceptation is used.

This change relates to all market balance areas (MBAs) in countries Finland, Sweden and Norway.
