Fingrid will not charge volume fee in November 2026

In November 2026, the volume fee charged to Balance Responsible Parties will be EUR 0,0 per megawatt hour in Finland. The fee will not be invoiced because the reserve costs covered by the balance service fees have remained at a lower level than forecasted and the result for electricity trading has been higher than forecasted. Other balance service fees will remain unchanged.

A similar decision for not invoicing the volume fee in Finland for October 2026 was announced by Fingrid previously in August.

Appendix 1 to the Imbalance Settlement Agreement has been updated accordingly.
